Mark Weinstein, CEO

Mark is a leading privacy advocate and the founder of Sgrouples.com, the worldʼs
first private social network. Sgrouples combines many powerful features, like
private groups, personal cloud storage, and direct one-on-one messaging, into the
ultimate social experience. Sgrouples users are protected by its revolutionary
Privacy Bill of Rights. Mark and Sgrouples have been featured on Fox News, as well
as in Forbes, Business Insider, ZDNET, INC, and numerous other top-tier media
outlets in the USA and abroad. Mark is an Advisory Board Member of the Future of
Privacy Forum, as well as a Steering Committee Member of National Strategy for
Trusted Identities in Cyberspace (NSTIC), a White House initiative to improve the
privacy, security, and convenience of sensitive online transactions. Mark is also a
member of the Online Trust Alliance (OTA) where Sgrouples has been given “Honor
Roll” status for its dedication to user safety, and was named an Ambassador of
Privacy by Design by the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario, Canada.

Mark was a visionary early pioneer of the social experience, founding
SuperFamily.com and SuperFriends.com in 1998, which were PC Magazine “Top
100″ sites and precursors to todayʼs social networks. An expert on individual and
organizational greatness, he founded Peak Life Habits, Inc., in 2002, and is the
author of the award- winning Habitually Great book series, endorsed by the late
Stephen Covey.

A successful athlete, Mark was a silver medalist in the 2005 USOC State Games
of America (tennis) and has climbed Kala Patar, an 18,500 foot Nepalese peak. Mark
received his BA from the University of California, Santa Cruz; and his MBA from the
Anderson School of Management at UCLA. He currently resides in the heart of
Silicon Valley.
