How to Connect to Your Social Networks

There are so many social networks out there. And not everyone wants to start from square one when creating an account with a new site.

Luckily, Sgrouples offers the ability to connect to your other social networks (such as Twitter and Facebook) with just one click!

In this post, you will learn about the following:

Accessing the Social Networks Feature

Connecting/Disconnecting to Your Social Networks

Accessing Your Twitter and Facebook Newsfeeds

Posting to Your Social Networks from Within Sgrouples

Accessing the Social Networks Feature

The “Social Networks” button is located underneath the list of your Sgrouples groups to the left-hand side of your dashboard at all times.

Connecting/Disconnecting to Your Social Networks

Click on the “Social Networks” button and a box will pop up asking if you would like to “read and post to your favorite social networks.” If this is something you’re interested in, click on “Connect” next to each network that you would like connected. A new box will direct you to the corresponding website so that you can log in.

Once connecting to one of your networks, a new and corresponding button will appear beneath the “Social Networks” button!

In the future, you can revisit this tab to turn off your social networks.

Accessing Your Twitter and Facebook Newsfeeds

You can access an entire newsfeed devoted to your Twitter or Facebook account by clicking the buttons that have now appeared beneath the “Social Networks” button.

Twitter Page

And this page functions exactly as your regular third party account:

With Twitter, you can filter your newsfeed according to “All Tweets,” “My Tweets,” “Mentions,” “DM’s,” and “All Trends.” You can also “Reply,” “DM,” “Retweet,” or “Share” from directly below any tweet.

With Facebook, you can filter your newsfeed according to “Friend’s Posts” and “My Wall.” You can also “Comment,” “Like,” or “Share” from directly below any Facebook post.

Posting to Your Social Networks from Within Sgrouples

You can post directly to your Twitter and/or Facebook accounts by clicking inside the post bar at the top of either social network’s page.

Posting to Social Networks

Simply check-mark the networks in which you want your words to appear – You can choose Twitter, Facebook, and/or any of your private Sgrouples groups!

And the posts you make to your social networks will show up in your “My Cloud” feed and will be stored there under your 4GB of free storage.

Read more about My Cloud HERE!

It’s also important to note that while any post that you make to Twitter or Facebook will be visible to the people with whom you connect on those sites, Twitter andĀ Facebook will not be able to see the posts you make to your private Sgrouples groups.

So get started aggregating your online life and breath a sigh of relief. You can manage it all right here with Sgrouples!
